November 28, 2009 in Budget Hotel, Budget Travel by admin

Disney Vacation deals start months before your trip. You need to plan ahead to make sure that you can save money. The longer you give yourself to research, the better deals you will find. Here are a few tips to find the best Disney vacation deals.

Many companies have begun to advertise online only specials. Disney is one of these companies. Booking your trip online can save you a lot of money and make many deals available to you that aren’t available elsewhere.

Also, you can call Disney. Who knows more about Disney vacation deals then Disney? No one. Calling and asking Disney is another way to find hidden deals. There are many discounts and deals at Disney and not all of them are advertised. Calling Disney can give you the inside scoop of what is going on in the park.

If you have flexible travel times, travel during the off season. The value season at Disney can see hotel room prices slashed in half, as well as theme park tickets. Traveling during the value season can save you a lot of money.

You should also look into the Disney meal plan. Disney offers a plan for families who plan to stay for a few days or more. Getting the Disney meal plan is a great way to be able to get great food, but not to spend an arm and a leg.

You should also check with your hotel to see if they offer any discounts at any restaurants. Many hotels advertise certain restaurants, and in return, the restaurant will give the hotel patrons discounts. Make sure to check with your hotel to see if any discounts exist. Disney is a wonderful place for any kid. Following these tips can make it a magical, but affordable trip.

Expert Tips For a Safer, Smoother, and Cheaper Trip by Jennifer Hadlow

November 28, 2009 in Budget Hotel, Budget Travel by admin

Under UK law if you pay for goods or services that total over £100 and under £30,000 you are protected against any faults with the goods or failures with the services you buy. The credit card company along with the retailer are both liable instead. This means that if you pay by a credit card you you will not be out of pocket if things go wrong.

It is especially important when booking flights or holiday accommodation to use your credit card as Excel Airways went out of business recently and many people lost all their money because they either paid in cash, cheque or with a debit card.

Even if you buy an item abroad whilst on holiday that later becomes faulty you can still claim a refund through the credit card company and this is so much easier than pursuing a retailer in a foreign country.

Have you considered booking your own accommodation by yourself rather than through a travel agent?

If not it is something you really need to consider as there are big savings to be made. Firstly surf the net and decide on the hotel you would like to stay at. When you have decided you should then obtain the phone number of that hotel. Be careful when surfing that you get the telephone number of the hotel as most of them now use go betweens that will add on commission to the cost.

When you speak to the hotel tell them that you were very impressed with the reviews of their hotel and ask if they have availability for the dates you wish to go. If they have spaces ask how much their rates are and when they tell you explain that it is a little more than they can afford to pay and will have to look elsewhere

As they have vacancies they would rather have some money than an empty room they will lower the prices to get your custom. I have tried this five times and have made significant savings on four occasions. Bear in mind that if you are travelling during peak periods you may not always make savings but any other time of the year you will be in for a pleasant surprise.

Tips to Get Last Minute Cheap Flights by Olivia Harrigan

November 28, 2009 in Budget Hotel, Budget Travel by admin

The best way to get a cheap fare for your airline ticket is to buy in advance. The further up in advance you buy, the cheaper your ticket will be. The general rule is if you purchase your ticket three weeks in advance, you should get a cheap ticket. The price goes up at 14 days, then up again at 7 days. If you want to get a cheap ticket, book your ticket early.

But what if you miss your chance to buy your ticket in advance? Can you still get last minute cheap flights? We do not always know when we are going to need to fly and sometimes we need a ticket now. Well there’s good news. Ticket prices will go up the closer it gets to the time of the flight, but, if airlines have seats left when it gets closer to take off, they will sell these seats for a discounted price.

One of the best ways to do get last minute cheap flights used to be by flying stand by. Flying stand by means that you do not have a seat reserved on the plane. But if they are about to take off with empty seats, you will be able to by a seat at a greatly reduced rate. This used to be a terrific way to fly, but airlines have generally stopped this practice although there are a few airlines who still let you fly stand by. If you can’t find an airline that lets you fly stand by there are still other options.

Using a bidding site like hotwire or price line can get you a great deal on last minute cheap flights. Bidding sites like these are constantly updated. If a flight has only days or hours before take off, and still has a lot of seats left, you will probably see a drop in price.

Don’t Get Stung by Cheap Last Minute Holidays by Yvonne Dawson

November 28, 2009 in Budget Hotel, Budget Travel by admin

Most of us have been affected in some way by the recession. We were warned by the government that times were going to be tough but media surveys showed that the majority of us refused to give up our annual holidays. However, in reality, many of us have had to forgo our annual trip to sunny climes and now the winter is here, we are really feel like we’ve missed out. So we need to think about how we can still manage to get away on holiday, while sticking to a budget. So what is the best way to go about finding cheap last minute holidays?

An ideal place to start is on the internet, this gives the widest option of finding the best prices without trailing from shop to shop. You can start your search in different ways; you may have a destination in mind so you can use a search engine such as Yahoo or Google, and search directly for that, or you may be more general and search for ‘cheap last minute holidays’ for example. This will result in a number of options being brought up which you can then compare. Searching online means you could benefit from any last minute sales, you will also have the option to sign up for airlines email offers so you will receive discount news before anyone else.

Booking flights that fly at unsociable times can also save you money, no-one opts for these flights as a rule if they can help it so airlines usually charge less to encourage people to book them.

Check different airports, it could work out cheaper to fly from airports further afield than those close to home, sometimes the cost of getting there outweighs the difference in price.

Be careful when booking to check for hidden charges, cheap last minute holidays can become more and more expensive at each click of a button if you are not careful. Some airlines will give you a base price and then add ‘extras’ as you go along, for instance flight meals, pre booked seating and checking in baggage, then just when you think you’ve agreed a price, they add a credit card charge on.

Add your details carefully, and always check the small print as some companies can charge a small fortune to amend a booking, we’re talking £50 just to amend an initial here so be warned!! It can be false economy to get bargain cheap last minute holidays, only to discover you’re paying a fortune in extra charges.

Make sure the company you book with is either ABTA (Association of British travel Agents) or ATOL (Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing) bonded, and then if anything does go wrong with your tour operator, you should be covered financially. ABTA is for agents who sell holidays on behalf of a tour operator, ATOL is for those who sell flight tickets only.

Your ABTA and ATOL protection is not the same as travel insurance though, this should be taken out whether you are having a short city break or long stay holiday. Travel insurance should always be bought as it is there for the smaller and more personal things. It covers you for loss of possessions, flight delays, illness and injury. Booking cheap last minute holidays is a fantastic way to get away with minimal cost; however if something unfortunate happens, it could end up costing you a fortune. Don’t look at buying travel insurance as costing extra money, look it as an investment in your holiday, and a way of ensuring that those cheap last minute holidays don’t turn into expensive nightmares.

Cheap Ticket Flight – Strategies to Find the Best Airfare Deals Available by Martin Ford

November 28, 2009 in Budget Hotel, Budget Travel by admin

It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to find a reasonably cheap ticket flight to suit our needs and pockets. The ticket prices of today’s airline companies are terribly expensive, sometimes exaggerated, especially if it’s the peak season for international travel. Even cheap international flights can get to pricey if you don’t manage to get them at the right time.

To cut down the cost of your travel expense you must avoid being lazy and thoroughly search the market for the best airfare deals.

Using the internet is just one way to get reasonable discounts on airfare rates with airline and travel companies and is quite convenient for consumers since they can easily book the flights they want to in the convenience of their own home or at their place of work.

It’s quite easy to look for the best cheap ticket flight deals on the Web since you can utilize search engines to make lookup much easier to deal with. You can go for travel-related companies affiliated with known airlines and have them book your flights for you. Comparing each companies rates and special offers is also much easier to do on the internet.

One advantage to using these services is the ability to help you see which days offer lower rates in terms of departure and arrival time.

If you want to get some of the best airfare deals in the industry, then you might want to book your cheap ticket flight during off-peak hours — which is to say around late in the evening or early in the morning. In most cases, airlines will offer their customers a very good discount for last minute deals so that they can get as many passengers as possible for every trip.

The only drawback to this option is that there are plenty of people trying to book these seats in advance due to the cheap price on offer. It is advised to consider as many airline companies as possible for this method so that you will have a chance of a cheap ticket flight being available when you need them.

If all else fails, you can always look for best airfare deals on cheap airlines in the market. These are not known for quality and seating is a bit cramped but at least it gets you where you’re going without emptying your wallet.

The above strategies are very good for obtaining reasonable savings but, unfortunately large scale savings are more difficult to make, though not impossible. By far the best way is if you know of someone on the inside, perhaps a current or former employee of the airline trade who is willing to let you know a few tricks of the trade about how to find a cheap ticket flight.

Basically, getting to know the right people, such as a retired airline employee who will give you the secrets, could save you a fortune at anytime of the year.

That’s exactly what one ex airline employee I know is willing to do – Give away those industry secrets and if you to want to get them just go to http://cheapticketflight.info.

One Walt Disney – Many Walt Disney Tickets by Jean Z. Mayfair

November 28, 2009 in Budget Hotel, Budget Travel by admin

Many people fail to realize that Disney World consists of many different rides, parks, and attractions that may not be included in your general admittance ticket. This can be a shock to some, and could cause much unwanted to spending. If you are planning a trip to Disney World, you need to do some research in advance so that you can save as much money as you can on your Walt Disney tickets.

First you have to decide on what type of trip you are planning. If you are planning a week long vacation, you might consider buying combo tickets, also, do some research on your destination and see what type of packages that they offer. If you plan to visit all of the connecting theme parks at your destination, then try to get all inclusive tickets, these types of tickets can cost considerably less then buying tickets for each individual park.

Walt Disney tickets can cost close to a hundred dollars. Buying four, five, or six tickets can make a day of fun very expensive, not to mention, you also have to pay for food, drinks, and any gifts that you might buy. If you are going to Disney World, it is important that you try to save money on every aspect of your trip.

Another good tip to keep in mind is this fact, just because the price of one hotel, for instance, is cheaper, does not mean your trip will be cheaper. If you get a hotel instead of Disney resort you might have to rent a car, or pay for parking which might make the trip more expensive. The same thing goes for Walt Disney tickets, know what you want from your trip before you buy.

You can also use coupons for your trip, Disney offers coupons on tickets, restaurants, gifts, lodging and many other aspects of their magical kingdom. Take advantage of these coupons and make your Disney trip affordable.
